Prayer & Praise:

Spirit Of Peace is an active Prayer Ministry and your cares and concerns are felt by all.  When you pray include these people and concerns in your petitions.  If you would like to add a concern to the list please e mail us or contact the church office and you will be included.

We pray because Jesus told us to, what better reason is there? Jesus said, "to always to pray and not to give up" (Luke 18:1).  If Jesus said we should do it, then let's do it.

We pray because it is God's blessing for us. God works in our lives through prayer, James 4:2 tells us, "You do not have because you do not ask." God wants to give help and gifts that we need but we have not specifically asked for.

We pray because through prayer, we communicate our anxiety and worry to God, Philippians 4:6 says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God".

Mark 13:33 "Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is".

Matthew 21:22 "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer".
